CAMPING RULES AND REGULATIONS

To ensure a quality camping experience and to protect Ruby’s Landing’s natural resources, visitors are asked to abide by the following rules. For more information or assistance, please contact the park manager.

Please help us to ensure that we keep a family-oriented camping experience by adhering to the following rules and regulations. 

Campground Rules 

  • Campground speed limit is 10MPH 
  • Check in times are: 
  • RV/Camping – Noon 
  • Cabins – 4pm 
  • Check out times are: 
  • RV/Camping – Noon 
  • Cabins – 11am 
  • Quiet time are: 
  • Weekdays – 10pm – 6am 
  • Weekends – 11pm – 7am 
  • No fireworks or guns. 
  • Do not leave campfires unattended. 
  • Dump trash is designated areas only. Do not leave in fire pits. 
  • Keep pets on a leash at all times. Clean up after them. Do not tie to trees, spigots or meter boxes. 
  • No more than 2 pets at a campsite. 
  • Do Not cut or harm trees. 
  • No Smoking or Vaping in any buildings, bathrooms, or porta potties. Do not throw butts on the ground. 
  • ATV’s are allowed but MUST follow the speed limit and be kept on road, ATV track or trails. 
  • No drug use, disorderly conduct, loud music, foul language, or disrespect will be tolerated. 

 

Floating Rules 

  • All rented floating equipment must be off the water by 7pm. Due to safety concerns, children under 2 years old are not allowed to float. 
  • All floaters must arrive 45 minutes prior to float time. 
  • No pets in rafts. 
  • No fishing from rafts. 
  • Rental comes with life vest, water bag for trash and shuttle to drop off location. 
  • Cabin Rules 
    • Check in time is 4pm. 
    • Check out time is 11am. 
    • No smoking or vaping in any cabins or buildings. 
    • No more than 2 pets in a cabin. 
    • No more than the maximum number of people in cabins due to fire code. 
    • Follow cabin check out procedures posted in each cabin. 

    Cancellation Policy 

    • We have a no refund policy. We can move your reservation if given a seven-day notice. We DO NOT refund deposits. 
    • We do not cancel floats unless there is torrential rain, dangerously high river levels or lightning. You may move your float to a different day with a 24-hour notice. We DO NOT refund deposits. 

Notice to All Guests

NOTICE TO ALL GUEST: This property is privately owned. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. By signing below, the undersigned assumes full responsibility for any and all equipment issued and agrees to reimburse Ruby’s Landing, LLC for replacement or repairs necessary to return equipment to its original condition. If evicted from this campground or paddlesport activity, no money will be refunded.

Assumption of Risk

ASSUMPTION OF RISK: The undersigned acknowledges that canoeing, rafting, kayaking, camping and lodging can be a dangerous activity and that by participating the undersigned may incur personal or possibly fatal injuries. The undersigned further acknowledges that participating may result in loss or damage of personal items or personal property. By signing the below the undersigned acknowledges and assumes responsibility for those risks.

Release of Liability

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I, as the undersigned, fully assume all risks associated with transportation, canoeing, rafting, tubing, kayaking, camping, and lodging (Which includes possibility of drowning or exposure to the elements). I agree to voluntarily release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ruby’s Landing, LLC and any of its representatives from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action which are in any way connected with participation in these activities or my use of their equipment, transportation, or facilities arising from Ruby’s Landing, LLC or its representative’s negligence or my own negligence

Under Missouri law, an outfitter is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in paddlesport activities resulting from the inherent risks of paddlesport activities pursuant to the Revised Statutes of Missouri RSMO 537.327
